Author Policy

1. Author Responsibilities

1.1. Author Contributions

Each author must make a substantial contribution to the work, which may include but is not limited to:

  • Developing the concept or design of the study;
  • Collecting, analyzing, or interpreting the data;
  • Creating software used in the research;
  • Drafting the manuscript or significantly revising it in line with their role as an author.

1.2. Responsibility for the Manuscript

  • All authors are required to approve the version of the manuscript submitted for publication, as well as any major revisions in which they participate.
  • Each author bears personal responsibility not only for their own contribution but also for the accuracy and integrity of every part of the manuscript. This responsibility applies even to those sections produced by other co-authors, should questions arise regarding their reliability.

2. Author Consent

The journal requires a signed submission letter from all authors, alongside confirmation of the authorship order indicated in the cover letter. By submitting a manuscript, all authors confirm their agreement with its content, including the sequence of authors, the number of authors, and the description of each author’s contribution. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring this consensus and for handling communication with the editorial team throughout the publication process.

3. Corresponding Author

Key duties of the corresponding author include:

  • Ensuring compliance with standards for data transparency and reproducibility;
  • Retaining original data/materials for potential re-analysis;
  • Confirming the reliability of the data presented;
  • Minimizing barriers to data and material sharing;
  • Maintaining accurate records of authors and their respective contributions.

Moreover, the corresponding author must:

  • Provide permissions to use any unpublished materials cited in the manuscript, as well as to reuse previously published materials (e.g., figures);
  • Verify the correctness of galley proofs, including author names, affiliations, and institutional addresses;
  • Remain the primary contact for matters concerning the article after its publication and promptly inform co-authors of any updates or queries that arise.

4. Changes in Authorship

Any alterations to the list or order of authors after manuscript submission (e.g., adding or removing an author or modifying authorship order) require approval from all authors, accompanied by a justification for the changes and a detailed record of each author’s contributions. The journal’s editorial office does not intervene in authorship disputes.

To enhance the transparency of the publication process, authors are strongly encouraged to provide an ORCID.
