Anti-Corruption
Studies and
Research

Anti-Corruption Studies and Research is an international, peer-reviewed scientific journal devoted to enhancing cross-disciplinary investigation into the causes, consequences, and prevention of corruption. The journal brings together researchers, legal scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to share original findings, compare national and international experiences, and inform effective anti-corruption policy and practice at the regional, national, and global levels.

The journal publishes original research, analytical reviews, and case studies across a broad spectrum of themes, including corruption preventionliability for corruptioncountering money laundering, the relationship between corruption and human rights, and anti-corruption education and research. By examining these questions through legal, economic, institutional, and comparative perspectives, the journal seeks to bridge academic inquiry and real-world reform.

Corruption erodes public trust, weakens institutions, and obstructs sustainable and equitable development. By fostering independent, peer-reviewed scholarship, Anti-Corruption Studies and Research aims to strengthen transparency, integrity, and the rule of law, and to contribute to the global effort to build accountable and resilient institutions in line with international standards and the goals of sustainable development.

This inaugural issue brings together a collection of peer-reviewed articles that approach anti-corruption from diverse disciplinary and regional standpoints. Together, the contributions reflect the journal's commitment to academic rigor, methodological diversity, and practical relevance, and they set the tone for the scholarship we hope to publish in the issues to come.

We warmly invite scholars, practitioners, and students to read, cite, and engage with the studies presented in this issue. We also welcome submissions for forthcoming issues from authors worldwide whose work advances the understanding and prevention of corruption. Author guidelines and submission details are available on the journal's website.
